Terms & Participant Waiver

• Categories: Ride 20km and Run (1K / 3K / 5K — same price, you pick the distance at registration). Every ticket includes breakfast, T-shirt, finisher medal, tech sessions and networking.
• Prices are in INR. Early Bird (till 15 Nov 2026): ₹950; regular: ₹1,199 — plus 18% GST shown with a full breakdown before you pay.
• Optional rental cycle add-on (Ride only): ₹450 + GST per rider, subject to availability.
• Payments are processed by Intelliots Technology Solutions LLP, our authorised Cashfree partner. Your ticket is confirmed only when payment status is PAID — keep your order ID and QR entry pass.
• Bulk bookings (5+ tickets) unlock tiered discounts; each attendee receives a single-use coupon code redeemable at /register.

• Full refunds until 30 January 2027 — write to helloworld@techathlon.fit with your order ID.
• Free ticket transfers until 10 February 2027 — same process; we'll reissue the ticket to the new participant.
• Late cancellations aren't refundable — venue, catering, medals and staffing costs are committed by then.
• Failed or cancelled payments are never charged. If money was debited but your ticket doesn't confirm within a few minutes, contact us with your order ID and we'll trace it with the gateway.

• Flag-off: Ride 6:00 AM, Run 6:15 AM. Arrive early; latecomers may not be flagged off.
• Helmets are mandatory for riders. Follow the marked route, marshals, traffic police and hydration-station guidance at all times.
• Participate only if you are medically fit for endurance activity. If you feel unwell at any point, stop and alert the nearest marshal or medical desk.
• Emergency contacts you provide may be called if you need medical attention and can't consent yourself.
• Light rain won't stop us; in severe weather we follow a safety-first plan and notify all registered participants of changes.
• Rental cycles are serviced basics — inspect yours at handover and report issues immediately.

Endurance cycling and running carry inherent risks — traffic, road surfaces, weather, dehydration, collision, equipment failure and medical events. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and participate voluntarily, at your own risk, having assessed your fitness (consult a doctor if unsure). Under-18 participants are not permitted at this edition.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you waive claims against Techathlon, its organisers, volunteers, sponsors, venue/host partners and service providers for injury, loss or damage arising from participation, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited. You remain responsible for damage you cause to third parties or property.

You consent to basic first aid being administered if you are unable to consent, and to being photographed/filmed at the public event for Techathlon recaps and promotion (tell our crew on the day if you prefer not to be featured and we'll respect it).

• Techathlon is harassment-free: no abuse, intimidation, discrimination, or unwelcome attention — on the road, at the venue, or in WhatsApp/Discord/chat.
• Ride and run safely: no racing through red signals, no blocking traffic, respect fellow participants, residents and the host neighbourhood.
• Keep tech sessions welcoming: short questions, no sales pitches from the audience, respect speakers and the schedule.
• Founders, entrepreneurs, executives, technology leaders and members use directories, needs and chat in good faith — no spam, scams, or sharing others' contact details without consent.
• Violations may mean removal from the event or community without refund, and loss of Premium/leader access. Report issues to helloworld@techathlon.fit — reports are handled confidentially.

• Premium is an annual membership (₹1,000 + 18% GST / year). Edition-01 paid participants receive one complimentary year, claimable after login.
• Only Premium Tech Profiles are listed to leaders with exclusive access. Listing requires your profile's “list me” toggle to be on.
• Leader access is granted by Techathlon admin and may be revoked for misuse. Leader-posted needs and chats are the leaders' own; Techathlon doesn't guarantee outcomes of connections, hires or deals.
• Premium renewals are opt-in. Complimentary grants are non-transferable and non-refundable for cash.

The Techathlon name, logos, route content and site materials belong to Techathlon or its licensors. Speaker slides and demos remain their authors' property. Don't copy event branding or pass off unofficial events as Techathlon editions.

Our total liability for any claim connected to the event or site is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant ticket or membership. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, gateway downtime, or force-majeure disruptions. These Terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.
